January Snowshoeing Holidays

January 2020, Alpine Action Adventures is teaming up with the lovely folk of Magical Snow Treks to offer you two incredible snowshoeing experiences holidays. After new year we welcome you to book on to our Alpine Winter Skills week 9-16 Jan, or join us for our Guided Snowshoeing week 16-23 Jan.

The Alpine Skills week will give you the necessary technical skills to help you stay safe and feel more confident when planning your own off-piste winter mountain adventures. Using snowshoes for the week allows us to concentrate on the syllabus, stopping and discussing various topics easily and safely on-route.

The Guided Snowshoeing week offers you an incredibly special alternative to skiing/hiking in the Alps. It is not all about climbing to the top of the mountain but enjoying the open spaces and learning about the flora and
fauna along the way.

What is included: 

• 7 nights accommodation.
• Transfers to and from the airport and around the resort.
• Breakfast, lunch, dinners and snacks on 6 days. On the day off a continental breakfast will be provided and we can book you restaurants in town or on the mountain for your lunch and dinner. Dinners will be 3 courses with canapes and wine and beer is included.
• Bed linen, towels, free Wi-Fi.
• Equipment for the Snowshoeing and anything relating to the guided walks.

The team:

Cassie & Simon: Your hosts at Chalet La Ferme are mountain and fitness
loving and have lived in the valley for 7 years. Having looked after
guests in summer and winter, they will help you make your holiday
arrangements and they have a keen palate for locally sourced healthy
food; you really couldn’t be in better hands.
Simone Simpson: an Intl. Mountain Leader who is also qualified in
Orienteering, Wilderness Survival & Philosophy of nature, Mindfullness and Shinrin Yoku (forest bathing). A Sport Health Ed. teacher, Simone has
run Magical Snow Treks in Morzine for 6yrs focusing on Nature Connection & journeying in the mountains to improve health.
Neil Game: is an International Mountain Leader, and has been walking and talking about nature for the last 21 years. He is an avid biker, trail runner and an aspirant guide member of the association of British mountain bike
guides. He is also a ‘Shinrin Yoku – Forest Bathing’
