About Us

Welcome to our website! We are Cassie and Simon, the people behind the mountain holiday company, Alpine Action Adventures.

Throughout our careers in recruitment and the Navy respectively, we had been dreaming of a different way of life in the mountains. Where good food and the outdoors would be at the forefront of our lives. From that dream evolved our goal: to offer bespoke mountain adventures in the French Alps – so Alpine Action Adventures was born.

As avid skiers and snowboarders, we completely fell in love with Saint Jean D’Aulps, Morzine and the whole Portes du Soleil region. The area is so beautiful; the mountains offer great pistes in the winter, and provide a whole host of adrenaline activities in the summer with a climbing wall practically in our back garden!

In 2013, we bought Chalet Bernadine, in St Jean D’Aulps and set about preparing for our 1st season running a catered chalet business in the heart of the incredible Portes Du Soleil ski area. We opened our home up to our guests, many have returned year after year and have become great friends. 

From 2018 we have been proud to offer the incredible Chalet La Ferme as an alternative accommodation. just 1km down the road. Chalet La Ferme is predominantly available with self-catering and is fantastic for larger groups, sleeping up to 18. 

In 2022 we moved our catered holiday experiences to Chalet Alice, a beautiful building just 1km from the centre of Morzine, with 5 en suite rooms, hot tub and sauna. This place is a dream with a lovely garden, large balcony and a separate lounge for kids or movie nights. 

Now with 9 ski seasons under our belt, we are looking at every aspect of our offering to make improvements so we can continue to offer 5 star catered chalet holiday and self-catered holiday experiences. We are very excited to welcome new guests and see some familiar faces back again. As always, we wait to offer support and sustenance on what (if you are anything like us) could be the most important week in your year.

Our aim is to fulfil your dreams and make you fall in love with this mountain region. Whether you come in winter or summer, we believe this area has so much to offer that you will want to keep coming back year after year.
