The benefits of Yoga are undeniable and when you take up the practice you see improvements in flexibility and mobility almost immediately. Simon and I are very much beginners, dipping in and out of yoga practice, always wishing we made more time for it. Our practice is usually using the power of the internet as there are a wealth of classes you can follow online, our preference being Yoga With Adriene if you are looking for a some home class yoga. You can also follow some classes with Emma Wall from Ocean Flow Fitness . But nothing beats having an instructor with you to correct postures and get you into the best practices.
We have always thought that the mountain environment is the perfect setting to run a yoga retreat and after meeting Emma on a UK visit and reigniting an old school friendship, we knew we had found our perfect Yogi partner!
Emma is a keen surfer, paddle-boarder and Trekker and loves nothing more than the good vibes and energy that she gets from being at one with nature. Her creative multi-style approach to yoga has a strong Vinyasa flow element to it, along with a focus on core strength, anatomical awareness and alignment and the belief that both yoga and nature can be tools to help you connect with the essence of your true self and to find an empowered and liberated you.
We decided that weekend yoga retreats would fit in perfectly with people’s busy lives and give time to relax, revitalise; where you can get away from it all to reconnect with yourself and nature with 4 days of land and water based activities in the great outdoors. Our aim is to put on 1 holiday a month with 2 scheduled:

- Guided mountain treks

- Accommodation in a traditional alpine lodge with en-suits
- Option of pre booking extra activities such as paragliding and mountain zip lining
The cost would be £496 per person with 10 people maximum group size.
Accommodation in a traditional alpine lodge, all bed linen and towels, 3 X meals a day, superfood smoothie pre morning yoga, teas and coffees, wine and beer with the evening meal, morning and evening yoga sessions, guided treks, a SUP or kayak tour, mindfulness exercises, pick ups and drop offs to all locations around the area, airport transfers at designated times, free Wi-Fi, welcome pack.
Throughout this diverse weekend experience you will have daily yoga on offer to start and finish your day. Both energising you in the morning and soothing and stretching you out of an evening, all in stunning alpine locations and exciting heritage spots that will feed your soul and ignite your practice.
Every day you will have an exciting range of alpine activities on offer including; A SUP and walking tour of a beautiful local lake and the chance of experimenting with some SUP yoga! Guided mountains and river treks, local sightseeing and some wonderful mindfulness experiences to further connect you with nature and yourself.
